(I think it's because NBR, the Indie Spirits, and Sight & Sound have all listed it as a 2021 film, but I saw it in 2020. But I forgot to put it up for best debut and poster, so here I go in 2021. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Best Song/Musical Moment:
What a GREAT year for musical moments:
This Town ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us - The Sparks Brothers (Here's just the performance)
I guess the Jets from WSS for featuring Mike Faist and not Ansel Elgort? the mixerI feel prettyRita singing Somewhere?
(Why not America? Here's the issue - I LOVE the version of America from the broadway revival (here's the full audio), so as much as I love the costumes and choreography, I hate the movie version. The changes don't make sense narratively (why does Anita start the song???). The mix makes the girls sound tinny. Honestly, the intro to In the Heights ends up being the better big street dance, even without the yellow dance.)

"What is the point of money, if you're not gonna spend it on the people that you love?" - Tick Tick Boom
"I'm sure you can understand why our beloved parent company, Warner Bros., has decided to make a sequel to the trilogy." - Matrix Resurrections

Unforgettable Moment (Arr. There be spoilers here:)
The drive in neutral - Licorice Pizza
the last scene with Askel (or time freezing) - Worst Person in the World
Stefani's perspective - Zola
Flash-forward - Green Knight

Other Superlatives:
Wardrobe I wish I'd had as a teen: Marvelous and the Black Hole
Prettiest landscape: Land
Worst Casting: Ansel Elgort - West Side Story. I mean - talk about dragging an entire movie down. What were they thinking?
Best Opening: 30/90 - Tick Tick Boom (Runners up: In the Heights, Titane (a film that I'd suggest should have just been this as a music video, except that the actual music video for this song is one of my all-time favorites.))
Best Cameo: John C. Reilly - Licorice Pizza (Or Anne Boleyn in Spencer?)
Best Female Action Star: Trinity
Best/Worst one-upping of Cameron Diaz in The Counselor: Titane
Best Giants: Green Knight
Most surprising inclusion of a character named Jessica: Dune (given how popular our name is, there are SHOCKINGLY few Jessicas in film. Jessica Rabbit, Merchant of Venice, the Incredible Jessica James..... that's all I know. Wikipedia tells me there are THREE more (Prancer, Queen of the Damned and Cheaper by the Dozen.) (TV has more: Jessica Jones, Jess Day, Jessica Fletcher, and Jessica Hamby (True Blood). According to Wikipedia, there are another 12 on things like Soap, The Electric Company, and Heroes.)
Best Depiction Of Nudity, Sexuality, or Seduction: Mothering Sunday
Biggest Waste of a Cast: John and the Hole
Biggest Waste of a director (& cast): the Eternals
Best Pearls: Spencer
Most Wasted Potential of an Idea: Operation Mincemeat (Runner up: Cryptozoo)
Best Ending (the McKayla Maroney award): Souvenir pt. II (Runner up: Power of the Dog, The Dry (total gatsby ending))
Easiest to Guess Ending: Silent Night (every time I go to spell that movie, I spell it Silent Knight, which was the name of one of the blind sea lions at the SF Zoo)
Best Music Cue: There Must Be an Angel (Playing With My Heart)” by Eurythmics - Souvenir pt. 2
Most ridiculously, stupidly entertaining music cue: Last Resort - On the Count of Three
Best cumshot: Green Knight
Best Animal: Baku - Cryptozoo
Actor Having the Most Fun While Earning a Paycheck: Mia Goth - Mayday (Runner up: Matthew Goode - Silent Night)
Actor having the least fun: Daniel Craig - No Time to Die
Best performance from that Timothée Chalamet son-of-a-bitch: French Dispatch (sorry, Dune)
Best performance from that Timothée Chalamet son-of-a-bitch's hair: Also French Dispatch, but it's a close-run thing
Best New to Me: M
Best Scarf: Power of the Dog (Runner up: Green Knight)
Best travelogue: French Dispatch
Most WTF (bad): Titane
Most WTF (good): Zola
Best Entrance: Cyrano
Best Action Scene: Trinity flies - Matrix Resurrections

Best Surprise Better Off Ted actor: Marvelous and the Black Hole
Movie You Wanted to Love But Just Couldn't: Titane (Runner up: Dune. It was fine?)
Most Overrated: (Could go with the above as well) Summer of Soul. I'm sorry. I didn't get it. I was so bored. I would have rather re-watched What Happened, Miss Simone?
Best argument against funding the police: All Light Everywhere
Best breakdown of SF transit in a 2021 action piece: Mack on Shang-Chi
Prettiest San Francisco: Matrix Resurrections
Best mid-credits scene: Sparks Brothers facts
Best post-credits scene: the Catrix
