But I forgot to put it up for best debut and poster, so here I go in 2021. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Best Score:
Passing (as I recall, the score weaves in bits by Emahoy Tsegue-Maryam Guebrou, whose work was also used in Time (2020))
Zola (I loved that in the theater I went... 'this is Mica Levi')
... I mean the Sparks Brothers?

Best Song/Musical Moment:
What a GREAT year for musical moments:
This Town ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us - The Sparks Brothers (Here's just the performance)
I guess the Jets from WSS for featuring Mike Faist and not Ansel Elgort? the mixerI feel prettyRita singing Somewhere?
(Why not America? Here's the issue - I LOVE the version of America from the broadway revival (here's the full audio), so as much as I love the costumes and choreography, I hate the movie version. The changes don't make sense narratively (why does Anita start the song???). The mix makes the girls sound tinny. Honestly, the intro to In the Heights ends up being the better big street dance, even without the yellow dance.)

Passing
Power of the Dog
Coda
World to Come
Dune
tick tick boom
Matrix Resurrections
In the heights

Best Short - Doc:

Best Short - Animated [Ed: this one is so hard! I do think it's a rare case of the right film both being nominated and winning the oscar, but Ghost Dogs, Swallow the Universe and Opera are all really close runners up.]
